Theory...Animation: Stop motion

 

 I thought looking into animation and the various styles of animation would be something alot more interesting to the things that i usualy look at. I thought about looking at stop motion animation, because i think its one of the few animation styles that take extreme amount of work and perfection.

 I Found the stop motion animation above when i was searching on youtube, and thought it was a lovely little animation. The thing i found interesting about this animation itself was the fact the whole thing was shot using a Nokia N8, so the idea of using a mobile phone to prduce an animation like this is amazing.

Wire Studies.

I began to think of other ways that i had done observational drawings in last time, which made me think of the first project when we did wire drawings from images we had already done in our sketchbook, so i though maybe doing drawings of people straight away using thin florest wire. I only mangaed to do three, it was a time consuming process, but i did enjoy it regardless, plus it was something i was willing to try and something that i wanted to try that i probably wouldn't have done before. The look of the wire and the way it bends is an interesting thing to work with. I found also that i had to focus on people who i knew wouldn't be moving anytime soon.
